AANAC’s Resident Assessment Coordinator - Certified Advanced (RAC-CTA) program is an advanced certification for clinical reimbursement leaders who are current RAC-CT holders. This three-day workshop provides advanced principles of clinical reimbursement, Medicare program compliance and integrity, RAI/MDS program integrity, leadership, ethical practice, managing medical review, accurate ICD-10 diagnosis coding, advanced strategies for payment oversight, and improving a facility’s quality measurement in all CMS quality programs.
Whether you are a clinical reimbursement specialist in a regional, state, or national consultant, or are a professional in any aspect of MDS and Medicare compliance and oversight, this program will help you excel as a reimbursement leader. You must hold and maintain a current RAC-CT to qualify. This workshop covers the following content from the RAC-CTA curriculum:

COURSE COMPLETION
Your workshop registration includes access to the 10 RAC-CTA certification exams. To earn the credential, you must be RAC-CT certified and pass the final exams with a score of 80% or higher. You will have 90 days from the date the exams are launched before they expire.
ACCREDITATION STATEMENT
The American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN*) is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. AAPACN* works in conjunction with the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) to provide nursing home administrators with continuing education credit for any AANAC workshop attended.
*The American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN) is the parent organization of AANAC.

The RAC-CTA 3-day workshop is approved for 22.5 CEs.
